Does anybody have any experience using this camera in the studio? If so, what lighting equipment are you using. The manual only says to use Canon flashes or equivalent, which aren't going to cut it. I'm not that familiar with trigger voltage (250V) and don't want to fry the thing. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. What I'm looking for is a brand of lights that would work with E-TTL. Thanks

How on earth will I knw who she is. All I know is, that's the name on my

You can get -
1. a year extension to recapture the time spent abroad
2. New/Extend H-1B for 3 year, but will be subject to cap
3. can get new/extension H-1B for 3 years without cap, if you have I-140 approved
4. can get new/extension H-1B for 1 year without cap, if I-140 is pending

The reason I was asking is because recently this application to consider this as a new H1b for 3 years was rejected and instead only one year (recapture time for year abroad) was issued.

Just mark NO, since it is a Yes / No question. You currently have EAD for next 2 years, hopefully it'll get renewed. You don't have a crystal ball to tell what will happen after that.
So you are not mis-representing by saying NO.

I was in the same boat and I can tell you that you have to pretty much depand on your company attorney. In my case it took 2-3 inch thick stack of documents to prove the relationship of the US company with its foreign subsidiary and if you are trying to get L-1A (multinational executive/manager), it will take another bunch of documents to prove your credibility, your existing status with the company as a manager/executive in the foreign subsidiary, your proposed role in the US company and a lot more. I guess it would be wise for you to let the attorney handle the case as you probably won't have much to do with the whole process. However, the positive news for you is that almost all of the well documented and properly filed L-1 petitions are approved by USCIS, and any experienced immigration attorney won’t have much of a problem getting you approved.:)

wow - you look really scared. I dont see anything wrong sending them an email. as long as you write correct passport number, VFS receipt number, you should be good. you not doing any crime by asking. they wont care if it is written in english or local language just because your mom can't speak english.
again - I see nothing wrong calling them/sending an email. after all it's your monthr's passport. as per rule they should get back to you in specified time.

My I-485 status is updated with the below message. LUD 05/21/2009. Surprisingly they mailed the document on 09 March 2009 and status update is on 05/21/2009

If I was in your shoes I would not file unemployment benefits because our sole purpose for filling or evening being in the USA is because we have a job or job offer. I would get an odd job and make ends meet. Filing Unemployment might come back to bit you later.

People at the airports( I assume the same for checkpoints) care more about what's the date on the stamp and if you have a valid H1-B to support.
In my case, I had a company A's H1-B Visa stamping(Still valid at that time) and Company B's H1B papers.
Very rarely do they pull-over(it happened for me on a different occassion) and quiz you.
I believe when you say you are abandoning H1-B you are abandoning the petetion and not the Visa.

I think it can be. When starting the employment based GC process, one of the question asked was ... has any family member ever applied for your immigration petition in the past. Just an educated guess... check with an attorney

I have a similar situation and I just asked these questions from my lawyer so I can answer somewhat. Either case, someone will correct me if I am wrong.
1.Can I add my spouse to my GC status when PD is not current?My spouse is on H1B visa.
Not until your PD is current or close to being current. Does she have an approved LC and I-1140, pending 485 (concurrent filing)? If she does u may have some advantages like cross-chargeability etc.
2.If I start using EAD, is it still possible to add spouse or I should maintain valid H1 status?
