hi, i recently filed 485,EAD,AP for my wife and the attorney asked for check of $1010/- that includes unlimited EAD renewals.

As you have said, try to prepare all documents to prove that your project will be lasting for 3 more years. That should help you getting a 3 year extension.

Yes you can transfer based on the receipt number. There is not restriction on how many H1B petition can be filed on your behalf by different employers simultaneously. As long as you have no GAP in your paystubs during this transition you should be OK. I have gone through this experience in the past without any issue.

That e-verify thing sounds reasonable, but it is dangerous. The way things work, and as we are seeing now, things like that get expanded and they grow ever more intrusive. I think Canada is much better option . It's cheaper and convenient. I have heard many success stories of H1 stamping in Canada
I've an appointment in October at Munich, Germany consulate for H1B stamping. Because of time constraints I decided to get the stamping done when I'm out there for work. I've already obtained the german visa (though had to provide plenty of explanation !). This is my 9th yr extn (MS, EB2 - 140 approved)
- Can anyone share their experience at the Munich consulate?
- or, should I plan going to Canada and trying rather taking the risk in Germany?

I've taken a lot of bird pictures that have to be cropped even more than this. While I'm not happy with the detail it is still quite possible to see what bird it is :) and maybe the best I can do with my current lenses. Until I get a better opportunity and get closer to the bird I'll accept the picture, at least for my own archive. I think your frog picture is acceptable at that size, and could perhaps also be improved a bit more with some creative noise reduction and sharpening to give the impression of being a bit better than it is. I agree digital is amazing, there's indeed a lot of info that can be extracted from the megapixels.
